Blog posts on Wikivoyage published

On September 28, 2016 Samir Elsharbaty from Egypt Wikimedians published excerpts from a half-hour interview with the chairman of the Wikivoyage association, Roland Unger. Unger addressed both the origin of Wikivoyage and his most preferred travel destination Egypt. With more than 30 stays in Egypt, a wealth of experience has arisen, which he shared by writing over 600 articles.

On October 6, 2016 the WikiStammtisch Episode 0020 of Sebastian Wallroth with Roland Unger was released. In the one-hour podcast Roland Unger spoke about various topics on the web-based travel guide Wikivoyage. These include the fork from Wikitravel and the development of Wikivoyage, the Wikivoyage community, differences from Wikipedia, offline travel guides with Kiwix and the usage of Open Streetmap maps in travel guide articles. The travel guide is not yet complete. But everyone can help adding further content. The topic of Egypt took up some time, too.
